A Co Derry man has been fined £7,500 for non- compliance with a Department of Environment Planning Enforcement notice.
The fine was imposed at Derry Magistrates Court on Jason Hamilton of Kildoag Road, Killaloo for the non-compliance of an enforcement notice seeking the removal of an unauthorised wooden dwelling to the north of 152A Kildoag Road, Killaloo.
Hamilton was also ordered to pay the Department’s costs of £780 and court fees of £10.
The charge was brought under Article 72 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 for the failure to comply with an enforcement notice seeking the removal of an unauthorised wooden dwelling.
