There has been a serious road accident on the outskirts of Derry this morning.
A number of people have been taken to hospital following a three vehicle collision between Drumahoe and Ness on the Glenshane (Derry to Belfast) road.
Police are advising motorists that the Glenshane Road has been closed between the Lismacarrol Road and Tirbracken Road.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area as the road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
