Former Kilmarnock striker Mark Stewart has returned to Derry City for a second week of trials as he endeavours to secure a move to the Brandywell club.
The 25-year-old, who trained with the club last week, has returned to the Candystripes’ training camp at the Vale Centre in Faughanvale.
Stewart, a former youth player at Celtic and Partick Thistle, has played for Falkirk, Bradford City and Dundee with loan spells at Stranraer and Hamilton Academical.
Former Sligo Rovers left back/left winger Iarfhlaith Davoren has also joined up with the Derry team.
The 27-year-old is a free agent since being released by Rovers.
While at the Showgrounds, he won the League of Ireland Premiership in 2012, FAI Cup in 2010, 2011 and 2013 and the League Cup in 2010.
He was on trial with Scottish club Hibernian in December 2011 represented Ireland at university level whilst studying at NUI Galway
