Police are seeking the public’s help in tracing a man who carried out a daylight sex attack on a teenage girl.
The incident occurred while the girl wss walking along Blackthorn Path in Limavady between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on Sunday last, details of which has just been released by police.
A PSNI spokesperson said the attacker was believed to be in his 60s.
It is understood the young girl was not injured but was badly shaken by the ordeal.
The police spokesperson added: “Anyone who was in this area, who noticed any suspicious activity or who noticed a young female in distress is asked to contact CID in Limavady on 0800 555 111.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
