Roads Service have been called on to take “immediate action” to resolve flooding in the Rosemount area of Derry.
The call comes Sinn Féin Councillor Barney O’Hagan who said it was “unacceptable” residents in the Meadowview Crescent area were expected to`’wade through” flood water to access their homes.
Cllr O’Hagan said: “The flooding has been ongoing for a considerable period of time.”
He concluded: “I raised this issue with DRD Roads Service previously and they assured me the pavement is scheduled to be resurfaced, therefore, I am requesting work begins as soon as possible to resolve the problem.
