Four Derry boxers will compete in the Ulster Elite Championship Finals taking place in the Europa Hotel in Belfast tonight.
Reigning Ulster middleweight champion, Conor Coyle, from St Joseph’s ABC in Galliagh, will take on Immaculate’s JP Delaney, who he defeated in The Venue in Derry last year to win the provincial title.
Coyle’s stablemate, Blaine Dobbins. will take to the ring to take on Cairn Lodge’s TJ Waite in the light-flyweight final.
Sean McGlinchey, from Oakleaf Boxing Club, will take on Gleann’s Padraig McCrory in the heavyweight category while for Ulster gold against Gleann’s Padraig McCrory.
Former St Mary’s ABC boxer and one time national champion, Marc McLaughlin, now fighting with the Belfast-based Dockers Club, Marc McLaughlin, will take on Immaculate’s Joseph Fitzpatrick in the 60kg final.
