Police in Derry are hunting a man who indecently assaulted a woman as she walked home from a night out in the city.
The woman was attacked as she walked from a nightclub on Strand Road towards student accommodation between 1.30am and 2.00am yesterday.
Her attacker is described as being approximately 5’6″ tall and of a slim to medium build with dark blonde, thick wavy hair and stubble.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing dark jeans, dark Vans trainers and a checked shirt with the sleeves pushed up.
A PSNI spokesperson appealed anyone who could assist police with their investigation to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
The spokesperson added: “Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
