Sportswear company O’Neills are to create 60 new jobs at its plant in Strabane.
A £3 million investment will bring the number of people employed by the firm in the Co Tyrone town to more than 400 at its 60 acre site.
The new jobs will bring the total employed in the company to more than 400.
The company designs, manufactures and sells sports and leisure wear, mostly for Gaelic games sportswear, and currently has currently has seven stores located across Northern Ireland including Belfast, Dungannon and Newry.
Founded in 1918, the company will celebrate its 40th anniversary in Strabane this year.
Managing director Kieran Kennedy said the investment would add “manufacturing capacity” enabling it to achieve a significant increase on current volumes.
He added: “It will allow us to work smarter and so shorten our lead times, which in turn will give us a competitive advantage against our global competitors.”
Mr Kennedy said the company would also be developing its e-commerce capability to boost its online sales.
And he paid tribute the company’s staff.
He said: “Our success is in no small part due to the commitment, loyalty and dedication of our dedicated O’Neills team, who have unfailingly embraced the changes required to make our business a success.”
