Derry’s Millennium Forum is giving local school children to “live their dreams” by taking part in a leading musical at the award-winning theatre.
The Forum has announced it will present the school edition of “Les Misérables” as this year’s Summer Youth Musical from 30 July to 2 August this year.
Auditions to take part in the musical will take place on Saturday, 8 March, Wednesday, 12 March and Thursday, 12 March in the Forum.
To audition, you must be aged between 12 and 19 years of age.
At the audition, young people will be required to perform a section of a song that is not from “Les Misérables” and will be expected to prepare no more than one minute of a monologue.
Rehearsals will begin at the start of July and successful candidates must be available during the summer to fully commit to the production.
A Forum spokesperson said: “So, if you are aged between 12 and 19 or if you know any young people who has what it takes to perform in the Millennium Forum’s production of Les Misérables, come along to the auditions.”
Attendance at auditions must be confirmed in advance by contacting Emma on 07955972039 or email [email protected].
