The adverse weather has put tomorrow’s Coca Cola Intermediate Cup clash between Derry sides Institute and Newbuildings United at the Riverside under threat.
A pitch inspection will take place at the Drumahoe venue at 10.00am tomorrow to see if the game can go ahead.
In the last round, Institute were forced to play their “home” tie against Crumlin Star in Larne after the Riverside was twice declared unplayable.
Derry City’s game with a Derry and District Select, due to be played at Brandywell on Sunday, has already been called. It is now due to be played on Wednesday next.
And Finn Harps pre-season friendly with their League of Ireland North West neighbours Sligo Rovers, planned for Finn Park tomorrow, has been switched to an all-weather venue in Sligo after Rovers’ Showgrounds was also declared unplayable.
