Derry suffered a heavy defeat in their opening Allianz Senior Hurling National League tie with Kerry at Dean McGlinchey Park in Ballinascreen yesterday.
The dominance of the Kingdom saw Derry trail 2-01 to 3-12 at half time before Kerry went on to win on a final score of 4-24 to 3-09.
