Two hundred and fifty Year 10 secondary school pupils from across the Derry City Council area have taken part in the historic 10th anniversary of the “Prejudice: Face On!” Good Relations project at the City Hotel.
The event is an annual project run by the Community Relations Officers in Derry City Council and celebrated the achievements of pupils who have taken part throughout the year – and gave them an opportunity to present their learning to a bigger audience.
Drama, music, poetry and multi-media performances were all be on the programme – a big change from speeches and occasional PowerPoint’s used a decade ago when the initiative began!” explained Deputy Mayor, Alderman Gary Middleton.
