City of Derry Spartan Connor Bradley was the first Northern Irish runner to cross the finish line in international men’s 5k race at last night’s Brooks Armagh International Road Races.
In a quality field packed with international runners, the Derry athlete was the North’s top finisher in a time of 14:29.55, just under 15 seconds winner Nick McCormick of Morpeth AC who broke the tape in 14:11.90.
Derby AC’s Richard Weir claimed in second spot with a time of 14:12.37 while Leuan Thomas, of Wales, came in third in a time of 14:13.92.
