Derry hold a comfortable 10 point half-time lead over Westmeath in their Allianz National League Division A2 clash at Mullingar.
The performance will have delighted Derry boss Ger Rogan following last week’s disappointment performance against Kerry.
And Rogan will be hoping the Oakleafers, who currently lead on a scoreline of 2-08 to 0-04, will add to their tally in the second half given the fact that Westmeath were reduced to 14 minute in the 23rd minute.
Paddy McCloskey put Derry well in command with the first goal after 10 minutes.
