Former Derry City favourite McCourt has been named in the Northern Ireland squad to face Cyprus in a friendly in Nicosia next week.
The Barnsley forward is joined by fellow Derry men Daniel Lafferty and Shane Ferguson in Michael O’Neill’s squad for the game against Cyprus in Nicosia on 5 March.
Former Derry City winger, Niall McGinn, now with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, is also included in the 22-mad squad.
O’Neill will use next week’s match as preparation for the Euro 2016 qualifiers, which begin with a trip to face Hungary on 7 September.
Northern Ireland will play further friendlies against Uruguay, in Montevideo on 30 May, and Chile, in Valparaiso on 4 June.
