Derry City’s primary sponsor Diamond Corrugated have extended their sponsorship of the club for a further two years.
Paul Diamond, the company’s managing director, said he was delighted to continue the firm’s “strong association” with the Brandywell club.
Mr Diamond, a former chairperson of the Candystripes, added: “Under the leadership of Philip O’Doherty as chairman we have every confidence in Derry City’s future as a significant force in Irish football.”
The firm has served as City’s leading sponsor since 2011.
Philip O’Doherty, club chairperson, said he was “absolutely delighted” Mr Diamond’s decision for Diamond Corrugated to extend their “generous” agreement with the club
He added: “This vote of confidence in our football club will greatly encourage the board, management team, players and supporters as we begin our new season.”
Mr O’Doherty concluded: “I wish Paul and Diamond Corrugated continued success in their business and thank them for their continued support.”
