Four people were taken to hospital following a head-on collision involving two cars in Strabane yesterday evening.
Fire crews from Crescent Link station in Derry and Strabane attended the incident which occurred on the Great Northern Link in the town shortly before 4.00pm.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment and saw to release a 52 year old man and a 47 year old woman from one of the cars.
Two other casualties were out of their vehicle before the arrival of the emergency services.
All four were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
