Two people were injured in a two car collision on the outskirts of Derry this morning.
A man is in critical condition after the crash which occurred on the Glenshane Road close to the Belfry Country Inn.
A woman, who was injured in the crash, is understood to be in a stable condition.
Both casualties are being treated at Derry’s Altnagelvin Hospital.
Police have closed a section of the main Derry to Belfast road to facilitate a technical investigation of the crash scene.
Diversions have been put in place on the Lismacarroll Road and the Tamnaherin Road.
