Farmers living along the Co Derry coastline whose land is being eroded by the sea have called for stronger coastal defences in order to protect their livelihoods.
They claim they the tide is eroding up to four yards a month and they have lost up to 300 acres of land in the past 30 years.
They also claim they have lost livestock.
The landowners are not allowed to use boulders or anything because it the coastline has been designated an area of special scientific interest.
Now, they are calling on politicians to “do more” to protect their livelihoods.
