The PSNI in Derry is inviting residents living in the Waterside area of the city to attend a public meeting regarding the proposed introduction of a community based restorative justice system.
The meeting will take place in Ebrington Primary School at 7.00pm on Wednesday next, 12 March.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Restorative practice has been successfully used for many years throughout Northern Ireland and beyond as a means of resolving problems and issues within communities by those people living in the communities.”
The spokesperson concluded: “If you want to find out more about the programme and how it works please come along to Ebrington Primary School for 7pm. Parking is available.”
