A 31-year-old man pleaded not guilty to stabbing a man and assaulting a woman when he appeared at Derry Crown Court.
Adam McEwan, whose address was given as Tumulus Avenue, Newcastle Upon Tyne, denied maliciously wounding the man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting the woman occasioning her actual bodily harm.
Both offences are alleged to have occurred on 10 February last year.
McEwan was remanded to appear again on 7 May next for his trial.
