City of Derry Spartan Conor Bradley put in another impressive performance to win this morning’s 10k warm-up race for the upcoming SSE Airtricity Walled City Marathon.
Bradley, voted Derry’s Male Sports Personality of the Year last month, came home in a time of 31.53, ahead of Foyle Valley’s Scott Rankin.
City of Derry’s Declan Reid came in third with club mate Emmett McGinty in fourth.
The women’s race was won by Anne Marie Larkin, of Lifford AC.
Among those who put in outstanding performances were Carndonagh’s Garret Doherty who ran the course backwards and Charlie Page pushed baby Page in a pram.
Over 300 competitors took part in the event, which started and finished in Ebrington and took in a section of the marathon route.
The race was one of two arranged in the run up to the Derry Marathon taking place in June.
The next is a 10 mile race to be held next month.
