Barry Robinson will make his first National League start of the season in the Derry senior hurling team’s Division 2A clash with Carlow in Dr Cullen Park this afternoon (throw-in 2.30pm).
The Na Magha keeper is one of four changes made by team boss Ger Rogan.
Robinson gets his chance between the posts due to regular keeper Darrell McDermott ruled out because of work commitments.
Eugene McGuckin, Shane Farren and Jonathan O’Dwyer are the other changes from the side that started last Sunday’s game against London in Celtic Park.
Derry are currently in third spot in the league, level on points with Carlow and Kerry, both of whom have played a game less that the Oak Leafers.
The side will once again be captained by Swatragh’s Ruairi Convery, who played an influential role in last week’s win on his return to the side.
