A 43-year-old man is being treated in hospital after sustaining burns in a house fire in the Eglinton in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The man sustained burns to face and hands following the blaze which occurred shorty before 12.30am at a pre-fabricated house on Tamnaherin Road.
Two other men were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel but did not need to go to hospital.
A main jet and a hosereel jet were used in the incident although crews had to remain at a safe distance due to a gas cylinder being involved in the fire.
The occupants of the house were alerted to the fire by a smoke alarm
