The Dogs Trust, in support of Derry City Council’s Two Month Licensing Amnesty, is providing a two week roadshow, offering free microchipping of dogs to ALL dog owners at a number of destinations across the city.
In addition, the Dogs Trust is providing through the local veterinary practices free microchipping and neutering of dogs (eligibility – means tests benefits) until the end of next month.
Already this week, clinics have been provided at St Eithne’s Primary School, Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre car park, St Joseph’s Church car park in Galliagh and the sports pavillion layby at Drumahoe.
The roadshow is continuing at the following locations over the next two weeks:-
Today (Wednesday, 12 March): Ebrington: 11.00am – 12.30pm; Gobnascale, Bards Hill: 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 13 March): Holy Family Church car park, Ballymagroarty 11.00am – 12.30pm; Ebrington: 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
Friday, 14 March: Gasworks Centre, Lecky Road 11.00am – 3.00pm.
Tuesday, 18 March: Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre car park 11.00am – 12.30pm; lay by at St Eithne’s Primary School, Springtown Road 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
