A house in Derry was ransacked by thieves during daylight hours, police have revealed.
Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information about the burglary which occurred at Farmhill Road in the Foyle Springs area yesterday.
The residents found the house had been entered during the day when they returned home at around 7.00pm.
The house was ransacked and a sum of money stolen.
A PSNI spokesperson said detectives at Strand Road were keen to speak to anyone who saw anything or anybody unusual in the area before 6.oopm.
