Young entrepreneurs from Lisneal College, Thornhill College and Foyleview School in Derry will attend the Young Enterprise Gala Celebration being held at Titanic Belfast next week.
The event, being held in partnership with Invest NI, will recognise the achievements of young people across Northern Ireland in the Young Enterprise Company and Team Programmes.
The programmes give young people the opportunity to start real businesses under the guidance of volunteer business advisers from local industry.
More than 1,500 young people take up the challenge each year with 600 filling Titanic Belfast for the annual awards ceremony.
The top six “companies” will be named at the event, each of which will attend the Northern Ireland Company of the Year Competition at Belfast City Hall in May.
Young Enterprise NI is a charity delivering hands-on business education to more than 100,000 four to 25 year old young people each year.
The charity is principally funded by the Department of Education. For more information including volunteering and fundraising opportunities please visit www.yeni.co.uk.
