Kildare 3-17 Derry 4-14
Derry competed their Allianz National Hurling League Division 2A campaign with a draw against Kildare in Newbridge this afternoon on a scoreline of 4-14 to 3-17.
Forwards Ruairi Convery and Brendan Rogers were the stars on the Derry side, netting two goals each.
Trailing by six points at half-time on a scoreline of 2-07 to 2-13, Derry stormed back in the second period to take take the lead in the dying minutes of the game.
A goal two minutes from time looked to have sealed victory for the home side but Convery came to Derry’s rescue with the final point of the game for a share of the spoils.
