A number of people have been arrested by police investigating damage being caused to vehicles in Derry city centre.
Police say they are investigating incidents of criminal damage to parked vehicles recent weeks, the most recent being a car that had a mirror kicked off in the early hours of Saturday morning last.
A police spokesman said neighbourhood officers were investigating the incidents and had made a number of arrests for criminal damage and public order offences.
The spokesperson added: “We would ask local people to be alert and to contact police with any information.”
The spokesperson said information could be given by contacting the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
