Congratulations to Doire Colmcille minor player, Dean Curran, who has been called up to the county minor squad.
Training for Colmcille minors in preparation for their Carlin Duffy Cup semi-final continues. The semi-final, against Faughanvale takes place this Saturday.
Colmcille under-14s turned in a great performance to overcome Ardmore in a recent away game. Drawing at half-time, the Colmcille lads turned in a great second-half with vital scores from Conor Doherty, Cathir Kelly and Eugene Burns. Eoin Mc Mullan dominated midfield throughout the game and was “man of the match.”
Ardmore’s forwards were kept frustrated by excellent defending from Sean Mc Daid, Aaron Quinn and Caolin Mc Crossan. Special mention must also go to Aiden Harkin and Conor Quinn who made their under-14 debuts.
Training continues on Saturday mornings (11am -12.30pm) at the St Columb’s 3G pitch.
New under-14 players are always welcome. Anyone interested in playing with the underage teams should contact Matt at 07711486537.
