The refurbishment of two of Derry’s oldest streets is set to be completed in the next few days.
News that new paving and resurfacing schemes at Clarence Avenue and Princess Street are nearing completing has been welcomed by Sinn Fein Cllr Mickey Cooper.
He said: “The refurbishment programme, for which I had been lobbying Roads Service for several years along with residents, will be finished within a few days.
“It has involved the replacement of footpaths, resurfacing of roads, planting and removal of new and unsafe trees and replacement of broken cobbles and other damaged items.”
