A tribute night to a young Derry man who died last month will be held in the Tower Hotel in the city this evening.
Andrew Quigley’s body was recovered from the River Foyle just over four weeks after he was reported missing on 18 January last.
The 19-year-old, from Knockalla Park in Galliagh, took his own life after losing a battle with a drug and alcohol addiction.
After it emerged he had sought help and was told it would only be available when he quit his habits, his family have spearheaded a campaign for a detox centre to be set up in the city.
Proceeds from tonight’s event will go to Foyle Search and Rescue.
Dozens of prizes will be on offer thanks to local businesses with music being provided by The Hitmen.
