A number of roads in the Glenowen area of Derry have been sealed off due to a security alert.
A PSNI spokesperson said Hollyhall Road and Springhill Road were closed after a member of the public reported what has been described as “suspicious objects.”
The spokesperson added the bomb squad had been tasked to the scene.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
