A number of homes were evacuated during a security alert in Strabane last night.
Police attended a report of a suspicious object found at a green area at the Ballycolman Estate in the town.
A PSNI spokesperson said the object was declared “nothing untoward” after British army technical officers (bomb squad) carried out a controlled explosion.
