A section of the Waterside Greenway in Derry is to close for two days from tomorrow to facilitate essential maintenance.
A spokesperson for Derry City Council said phase two of the walkway-cycle path – from St Columb’s Park Junior Play Area to Waterfoot Park – would close at 8.00am tomorrow and reopen to the public at 8.00am on Friday.
The spokesperson added: “This closure is required to allow for essential greenway maintenance (tree surveys and emergency tree surgery) to be conducted.
“Derry City Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.”
