Neil Hamilton, the national vice-chairperson of the UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) is to visit Derry later today.
Mr Hamilton is currently on a three day visit to Northern Ireland in support of Henry Reilly’s candidacy in the 22 May European Election.
He will visit The Fountain in the city at approximately 7.30pm, followed by a visit to Ebrington Square in the Waterside and, depending on time and weather, take in an impromptu walkabout the city centre.
During the visit, the UKIP is expected to announce its candidates for the election to the new Derry-Strabane “super council.”
