An 11-year-old boy has been rescued by firefighters after falling down a steep slope in a Co. Derry country park.
Two fire crews from Crescent Link in Derry and a third from Limavady rushed to the scene after the boys was injured when he fell down 15 feet in Roe Valley Country Park in Limavady at around 3.20pm yesterday.
Firefighters using specialist rescue equipment spent 40 minutes rescuing the boy who had sustained leg injuries which are not believed to be serious.
The youngster was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry for treatment.
