Derry go into this afternoon’s National Football League Division One final against Dublin in Croke Park as underdogs as they attempt to prevent the reigning All-Ireland champions winning back-to-back league titles (throw-in 4.00pm).
Derry were impressive in defeating Dublin in the league encounter in Celtic Park last month and will be hoping captain Mark Lynch will be able to reproduce his scoring form from that game in which he registered 1-08.
Wing-back Sean Leo McGoldrick has not recovered from a knee injury picked up last week in a game for his club Eoghan Rua, so Loup’s Aidan McAlynn comes in to replace the Coleraine man.
Dublin boss Jim Gavin has made three changes from the team he started against Cork in the semi-final victory just under two weeks ago.
Bernard Brogan comes in to join his brother, Alan, along with Eoghan O’Gara while Cian O’Sullivan moves into midfield.
