A 50 year old man was arrested in the Rosemount area of Derry at the weekend.
The man was detained in the Lower Nassau Street area on Saturday night by police following reports of groups of people drinking on the street.
The arrest followed a demonstration by residents of the area earlier in the day in protest at ongoing anti-social behaviour in the area.
The protest followed claims by police in the city that Derry had seen the biggest decrease in reported incidents of anti-social behaviour in the North.
Meanwhile, the arrested man was released on bail by police.
