A teenager is in a critical condition following an early morning crash on the main Derry to Strabane road.
He was one of three people injured when the car they travelling in, a blue Lexus IS200, went off the road at Victoria Road, Newbuildings at around 5.55am.
Two females were also taken to hospital for treatment.
One of the women is described as being in a serious condition.
The road has been closed to allow police accident investigators to carry out an detailed examination of the scene.
Diversions are in place at Victoria Road at the junction with the Duncastle Road, the junction with Clampernon Road and the junction with Woodend Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to seek alternative main routes for their journey.
Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them on the 101 non-emergency telephone number.
