Derry’s hurlers were hammered by Kerry in round one of the Christy Ring Cup, the Kingdom winning by a massive 32 points in the gamed played in Austin Stack Park in Tralee.
The home side had the tie well and truly won by half time when they went into the changing rooms on a scoreline of 2-18 to no score.
Indeed, Derry had to wait until the 37th minute to register their first score, a point from Shane Farren.
However, Kerry did not relent and two further goals from Daniel Collins and Padraig Boyle an easy win on a scoreline of 4-31 to 0-11 points.
