Derry City haver been given an early opportunity to avenge last month’s league defeat by Dundalk by being drawn against the Co Louth side in the quarter-finals of the EA Sports Cup.
The Candystripes were beaten 3-0 by the Lily Whites, managed by former Brandywell boss Stephen Kenny, in Oriel Park at the start of last month.
The quarter final tie will take place in the Brandywell on either Monday 26 or Tuesday, 27 May next, with kick off time to be confirmed.
Derry gained their place in the last eight with a 1-0 away win against Sligo Rovers while Dundalk defeated Bray Wanderers 3-0.
The other quarter-final ties are:
