Police in Derry are investigating the circumstances surrounding car crash on the outskirts of the city in which the driver was hospitalised with serious injuries.
The single vehicle collision occurred close to the border crossing on Buncrana Road at around 5.30am last Thursday.
A PSNI spokesperson said a red Seat Toledo was believed to have been involved.
The spokesperson asked anyone with information to contact police on the non-emergency 101 telephone number.
