An 18-year-old man was arrested after a stolen car was found crashed and on flames in Derry in the early hours of this morning.
A blue Renault Megane car, which had been stolen in Glenvale Park in the Glen area, is believed to have mounted a kerb before crashing into a garden fence at Ringford Road in the Galliagh area before going on fire at 5.20am.
A PSNI spokesperson said the teenager was arrested in the area shortly before 5.45am and was helping police with their enquiries.
The spokesperson asked anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.
