DERRY RUNNERS TAKE PODIUM SPOTS AT STRABANE/LIFFORD HALF MARATHON

Derry runners took two podium spots in today’s Strabane-Lifford Half Marathon.

Chris McGuinness, of Foyle Valley AC, continued his excellent form to take second place in a time of 1.16.26 ahead of City of Derry Spartan Michael Murphy in third, who posted 1.17.50.

Stephen Duncan, of Omagh Harriers, broke the tape in 1.09.49.

Gillian Cordner, of Seapark AC, won the ladies race in 1.35.24 ahead Grainne Kelly of Knockmany Runners who finished second in 1.36.30.

Stephanie Campbell came third in 1.36.54.
