On the move: Rev Alan Peek.
Rev Alan Peek is to leave the Church of Ireland diocese of Derry and Raphoe to take up a new post in Newtownards.
Rev Peek, Rector of Castlederg, has been appointed the new Rector of Movilla Abbey Church in the diocese of Down and Dromore.
He will take up the post in September.
A spokesperson for the diocese said, “We are very sorry to see Alan, his wife Tammi and their daughters leave us.
“They have had a very fruitful ministry in Castlederg and they have our warm good wishes for their future.”
