A family escaped injury when a shot was fired into their Co Derry home at the weekend.
PSNI detectives are appealing for information following the incident which occurred the Drumard Road area of Draperstown at around 10.00pm on Saturday.
The family were in the home at the time the shot was fired through a window of the house.
A PSNI spokesperson said police were working to establish a motive for the incident and appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was in the Drumard Road area on Saturday night and noticed anything out of the ordinary to contact them.
The spokesperson said police were keen to from any landowners in the area to rule out any legitimate shooting on their lands.
