Colmcille senior team go into a top of the table clash with league leaders Moneymore this weekend.
The seniors will be trying to put last weekend’s result against Sean Dolans behind them to regain the momentum built in early league fixtures.
Coach Brian Duffy has urged all players to make a special effort to attend training.
Colmcille under-14s had an excellent 6-7 to 5-6 victory over Magherafelt.
The boys turned in a very strong first half, battling well in very wet conditions.
Colmcille controlled the game from the throw-in apart from a ten minute spell in the second half during which Magherafelt managed to take some scores.
However, they held out for a well-earned two points.
Stand out players for Colmcille included Aaron Quinn, Eoin McMullan, Caolin Crossan and Conor Quinn.
Training for the club’s underage girls’ team continues at St Columb’s College on Wednesday nights at 7.00pm.
Players should bring boots for training on the grass pitches.
A number of Doire Colmcille kit bags are available for purchase at £20 each.
