Dara McNulty was the first Derry runner to cross the finish line the Kilmacrennan National School 5K.
The Foyle Valley athlete posted a time of 18 minutes 01 second in finishing 14th.
The race was won by Letterkenny AC athlete Ivan Toner who came home in 15.53.
Paul McIntyre, of 24/7 Triathlon, was second in 17.04 ahead of Letterkenny’s AC Barry Meehan who took third spot in 17.08.
Letterkenny AC’s Irene McFadden won the ladies’ race in 20.10 with Nuala O’Hagan, Milford AC, second in 21.05 and Niamh Kelly, unattached, third in 21.43.
Over 500 runners and walkers took part in the event which was held as a fundraiser Kilmacrennan National School.
