A youth has been arrested following an arson attack on vacant commercial premises on the outskirts of Derry late yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to deal with the blaze which broke out at the building in the Donnybrewer Road area close to the White Horse Inn Hotel in Campsie shortly after 5.30pm.
A male youth was arrested in relation to the incident and has been released on bail by police pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for about the incident and are asking anyone who may have witnessed it or who has any information to contact them at Strand Road on the new non emergency number 101.
